Performs federal-grade authority in civilian moments and can't read the room. Treats Rafa like a threat because he can't stand that Rafa isn't one. Always playing the lead in a movie nobody is filming.
Working-class, tired, and already eleven steps ahead. Doesn't raise his voice — Pike makes enough noise for both of them. The one person in the room who knows he doesn't have to prove anything.
The world
Federal force. Tuesday afternoon.
Suburban California in late-afternoon light. A world where federal-grade enforcement keeps wandering into civilian life and pretending it’s normal. Everyone in frame is just trying to get home. Pike is the only one who thinks something’s happening.
